The Kingdom of Andúnë
Once a vast human empire that dominated much of Entar, Andúnë is now a kingdom located upon the central-eastern portion of the continent after internal strife and civil war led to the secession of Valgard. Even after several hundred years the kingdom is still very much a window into an age long past as the denizens cling tightly to their ancient ideals, culture, and way of life. Andúnë’s Royal Navy is the largest and most advanced fleet upon the open seas, and her elite Knights of the Crown have earned the respect of even the neighboring kingdoms.

The Republic of Valgard
A nation that was once a part of Andúnë, but earned its freedom through secession, Valgard encompasses a large portion of northeastern Entar. Her terrain is harsh but diverse and beautiful, consisting of rolling hills, highlands, plains, valleys, forests, and tundras. She is home to both the Tower of Sorcery and the Dragon Riders, both of which are highly respected and sought after. Valgard’s army is incredibly strong in comparison to the other nations of Entar, but it is her Northern Legion which has earned the most fame. The Northern Legion is a noble order of knights and cavaliers that travels in large cavalry units, and it is a rare thing indeed to not encounter them at least once when traversing the lands of Valgard.

The Kingdom of Elentári

The elven kingdom of Entar, Elentári is where the elven populace migrated to after the fall of Loriath. To the human eye Elentári is simply a vast forest with no defining boundaries, but to the elves this couldn’t be further from the truth. From crystalline towers in Highwood to simple tree homes in Minil’ost, the cities of Elentári are subtly intertwined with nature itself. However, the elven kingdom is one of deceptive beauty. Tensions still run high between the wood elves and the high elves after the recent civil war, and once night has dropped its shroud upon the lands malevolent creatures stalk the narrow pathways of the woodlands.

The Realm of Khalar

Khalar is a nation of dwarves divided into eight distinct clans: Khur, Thorgar, Drucin, Beorn, Angrok, Hael, Vrongst, and Icehold. Each clan leader is responsible for ruling their own clan, as well as cooperating with the other clan leaders on matters that might affect the whole of Khalar. The dwarven nation is located within a vast range of mountains upon the northwestern part of the continent, creating a formidable barrier between the Wastes and the rest of Entar. Each clan is able to communicate with the other via employing the Miner’s Guild to use its intricate system of relays. Little crime plagues Khalar, with the exception of occasional attacks from the drow, as a fanatical group named the Sons of Aldaron constantly patrol the mountains and its tunnels therein.

The Wastes
Once part of the spectacular kingdom of elves, Loriath, the Wastes is now a twisted and grotesque shadow of its former self. It is from the Wastes that many of the tales of tragedy, misery, and grief hail from, and few are either brave or foolish enough to venture beyond its borders. Surrounded by the massive structures that form the Great Northern Wall and under the constant scrutiny of the Watch, it is no easy feat to find oneself within the scarred, barren wasteland. It is a landscape of ash and dirt, a place of withered plants and trees, and a home to vile creatures that thirst for flesh. The Wastes is the stuff of nightmares, and only misfortune awaits those that enter it.

The Outskirts
The more remote edge territories of Entar can offer many interesting and dangerous adventures. Everything from the blazing Haldarac Desert to the moist Quegan Jungle, steppe wars between nomadic tribes, and the unfathomable evil of the Black Citadel await the adventurer brave enough to journey forth. Here exists no real law-enforcement, meaning it is every man for himself in a game of survival.

The Southlands
To the south and beyond lies plains and forests of ancient traditions, well-kept secrets and firmly rooted grudges. The mysterious fae and the merpeople protect their respective sanctuaries, orcs and goblins war amongst themselves, while a number of human and elven settlements try to survive in a sea of minotaurs, katta, dracons, centaurs and iolliairii.

The High Seas
From the Blood Red Sea in the far North to points beyond Nijon in the far South, the Azrae Ocean is active with ships from every nation, as well as those with no loyalties save their own. War ships, merchant ships, pirate ships; they can all be found traversing the coastline as they tend to their individual missions and goals and travel from port to port.
